A large fleet of longtail boats is based on Phi Phi Don to carry visitors on sightseeing tours, to snorkeling spots and on fishing expeditions. Many trips are made to "The Beach" or the caves on Phi Phi Le. Bow decorations of cloth and necklaces of flowers are traditional and perhaps are believed to bring good luck or protection.
